Yesterday we went to Ipoh at long last :D
Bus trip took nearly 2 hrs in total. idk wad happen lol but luckily everyone reach on time. Met sor pig in coffee bean until the others showed up. Then, we went for our first round of lunch : Sushi King!!
Yummy yummy. Kampar SK sucks compared to this :D
The highlight of this outing was of course the movie. Like Yean Kung said, the movie was the main course xD
So, we went to watch I Am Number Four after lunch. We were planning to watch I Love HongKong at first, but then out of four slots three wer full. So that left us with The Mechanic, I'm num.4, and some Nicholas Cage movie. Tamy watched The Mechanic before, so we chose the alien movie.
To be honest, i wasn't really expecting much from this movie cus they told me it was an alien movie. So i was like, "okay typical aliens take over the world movie. Cool."
In the end, we were like, "Wow that was good. What did we just watch?".
Well, first the storyline was kinda interesting. Some (hot) alien teenager from another planet living on earth on the run from their predators. The movie even mentioned Malaysia (lol apparently thats where Number 1 was killed).
Its a good combination of romance, friendship, action and danger.
The romance part was sweet enough, while the friedship part kinda neglected, but i love the action part. High tech guns vs superpowers vs blades vs monsters. Yum.
The teaser pretty much summarizes everything. Most of us were really impressed with Number Six (Teresa Palmer), the badass girl with the guns on a Ducati. The action and effects were kinda intense, so much that i had to keep holding on tight into hubby's hand and using them to cover my eyes lol. It was fast-moving, has impact and you never know what to expect next.
Another main plus point is this:
The main guy who plays Number Four. My first thoughts when i saw him :
1) He's hot!
2) He looks familiar O__O
And then thanks to google, i realized he's the same guy who played Alex Rider in Stormbreaker (a movie i watched a few years ago). English actor/model Alex Pettyfer!
He is really, really hot and showed off his hawt bod in the movie too. Watching the behind the scenes on youtube, i realized he usually talks with a deep english accent, but surprisingly in the movie he speaks like an american O__O
Overall, a very good movie which leaves us wondering if there's gonna be a sequel.
After the movie, hubby showed me his bleeding fingers. Idk wad happen lorh he always injure his fingers without knowing the reason = =
Then we went to Watsons and i bought a pack of band aids (25 plasters of different shapes sizes)for his poor fingers. When i went to him and stuck them on his hands, Alvin asked him, "hey, your loupo steal one arh?" = =
I buy one okay, just u two guys wandering around also dunno wad we girls are doing only..aish..
This is the product of his carelessness..
Then, we went for the second round of our lunch.
For some reason, i never went to Johnny's in Jusco back at JB so this is the first time i ate there. We kept taking pictures using Yung Shan's lomo app on her iPod touch while waiting for the food.
Then Shana met up with us for a few times, we actually watched the same movie in the same theater! She was with KKG, Miss Hoy, and her friends though.

When we went back, so unlucky to meet a queer taxi driver who force us to drop off at one place. So in the end i have to walk back for 5 streets back home =(
Darn tired.
That night, i continued my Secret Garden and finally saw the foam kiss scene!! Kyaaa..
I'm so so glad the love story part in slowly unraveling.. I guess girls really can't resist these fairy tale love stories huh. =3=
Then i really gek dao when hubby told me he injured his 3rd finger also = =
Beh tahan. I dono wad to say anymore lol.
